Nakazibwe Faridah is a Ugandan female journalist, a Luganda news anchor, a news show that airs on NTV – National Television Uganda and a host of Mwasuze Mutya aired on Spark TV Uganda.
Family and early life
Family background
Faridah Nakazibwe aged 38 years, was born on August 18, 1984, comes from a family of eight siblings and she comes second. Her father was Hajji Ssenyonjo Shakib and Hajjat Ssenyojo Sarah in Sembabule district but later relocated to Masaka town.
Childhood and education background.
Nakazibwe started her education at Kisozi Boarding Primary School, in Kisozi, Gomba District for her early primary education. She later moved to Bwala Primary School, in the town of Masaka, where she obtained her primary school leaving certificate.
After her primary education, Faridah moved to Taibah High School, in Kawempe, where she attained her High School Diploma. For her further education, she joined the Islamic University of Mbale, in Eastern Region to pursue a Bachelor of Mass Communication.
Success stories: Career and rising to fame
Career
On attaining a journalism degree, Nakazibwe was hired as a news reporter at WBS Television (Closed now). After two years, she then moved to NTVUganda where she was hired as the weekend news anchor of the Luganda evening session. In addition, she also hosts a motivational show on spark TV every week, where people from different walks of life share life experiences.
Rising to fame
Like any media personality, rising to the limelight is their desire. If we can hit with simple words, Faridah Nakazibwe has her limelight dream come true. She is a feminist, motivational speaker, and fashion designer, well known for her decent dress code.
She has managed to set up non-profit organizations for different causes (women and children) like the Faridah Nakazibwe foundation. Good deals on her side she has also secured deals as a brand ambassador for mega-companies in Uganda. (Techno Uganda, Mestil Hotel and Residence, and Maria’s Bridal).

Love life and Children
With Faridah Nakazibwe, love has not been her thing, she has tested the deep waters of love. We have had the likes of Al Hajji Moses Kigongo and Omari Ssali. Anyways let’s talk about what makes her successful and a good celebrity.
She had an awesome relationship and family of two daughters with Engineer Dan Nankunda whom she met at the time she was working at WBS Television.
