Eddy Kenzo arrested at the Mutukula border

On Boxing Day, the majority of Ugandan musicians went to Mutukula town in Tanzania to perform at Happiness Hotel at a show dubbed “Ebisenge Bikalubye” organized by Abtex Promotions.

It attracted the likes of Eddy Kenzo, Kabako, Nina Roz, Ray G, Walukagga among others.

After their performances, the Ugandan stars were arrested and returned to Uganda.

They were forced to take a mandatory Covid-19 test, which cost them Shs 90,000 each.

Eddy Kenzo’s test turned out negative, and he drove back to Kampala.

The local musicians are anxiously waiting for a nationwide re-opening of the nightlife next year.
