Gloria Atwine Katuuku is currently serving as Acting Director, Planning, Research & Development at Uganda’s National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U)—playing a key role in shaping the country’s digital transformation agenda.

With a background in systems analysis and project leadership, her expertise bridges technology, policy, and strategic outcomes.

A proud La Roche University alumnus, Gloria graduated with a BSc in Computer Information Systems and Management, and has since built a career woven through both public service and global tech platforms like Microsoft. There, she honed her ability to collaborate with diverse teams—skills she carries into her impactful work at NITA-U.

In her role, Gloria is responsible for steering research-driven planning to support Uganda’s digital goals. Her systems analysis skills and policy insight ensure that digital programmes are scalable, inclusive, and aligned to national priorities.
