What is the International Student Convention (ISC)?

The ISC, organized by A.C.E. School of Tomorrow, is a premier international event for students from schools and homeschool programs using the A.C.E. curriculum. With over 4,000 students from across the globe qualifying through regional conventions, the ISC offers more than 140 competitions in music, academics, athletics, art, oratory, and service. Before qualifying for ISC, Dawnitza had successfully competed and won medals at the East Africa Student Convention (EASC), earning her spot among the best young Christian students.

Thank you, Daddy and Mummy, for letting me experience ISC 2025. I’m so grateful for the experience and memories. Your support means the world to me. Love you.

I’m thankful to God for enabling me to get this victory. It wasn’t easy—the early morning practices even on weekends—but I’m grateful for the medals.

Special thanks to my trainers and coaches: Bosco Andama, Renee Erimaana, Queensly Aminat, Mr. Dan Ekude, and the entire Worship One Crew led by Mr. Dan Ekude”

Doreen Rutazaana Mushabe, her mother, said:

We also thank Denley, your brother, for being a shining example, having competed last year and returned in glory.

To the teachers at Vine International Christian Academy, Worship One Music Academy, Buwaate Tennis Club, and the School of Tomorrow Uganda team—thank you.

To my dear husband—thank you for supporting us throughout this journey.”

Dickson Mushabe, her father, added:

I am grateful to God for Dawnitza’s victory. I thank her for her diligence—for not giving up, for waking up so early to train for tennis, going to school, and then practicing music. As a parent, I am proud and thankful. I thank my wife for the commitment, identifying and helping me nurture their gifts”

More Than Medals

While the awards and global recognition are remarkable, Dawnitza’s story is ultimately one of faith, discipline, and purpose. Through her journey, she exemplifies the true spirit of ISC—not just achieving excellence but being rooted in Christ and pursuing her God-given calling with passion.

Uganda celebrates you, Dawnitza. The world is watching—and your light is shining brightly.
