Dfcu Bank has partnered with Double Q and ICEA LION to make it easier for businesses across Uganda to access vehicles, equipment and machinery through flexible financing solutions.

The partnership, unveiled today, is aimed at helping businesses acquire modern commercial vehicles and other assets without putting excessive pressure on their cash flow.

Speaking at the launch, Bruce Lin Yu, Managing Director of Double Q, said modern commercial vehicles can help businesses improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

“Modern commercial vehicles deliver real value through better fuel efficiency, safety and lower costs. With dfcu Bank and ICEA LION, we’re making these benefits more accessible to businesses across Uganda.”

Kate Kiiza, Executive Director and Chief Corporate and Institutional Banking Officer at dfcu Bank, said access to equipment and machinery is important for businesses looking to expand and create jobs.

She noted that asset financing can help businesses invest in growth while preserving working capital.

“Asset finance is a growth tool,” said Gloria Namutebi, Head of Vehicle & Asset Finance at dfcu Bank. “With Double Q, dfcu Bank is offering 100% financing for vehicles and green financing for electric and hybrid cars so businesses don’t drain cash to grow.”

The partnership also focuses on supporting businesses seeking more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles, including electric and hybrid cars.

Through the collaboration, businesses can access financing for vehicles, equipment and machinery needed to expand operations, serve more customers and improve productivity.

The partners say the initiative is part of their broader commitment to supporting Ugandan businesses with practical financial solutions that enable sustainable growth.

The partnership carries the theme #GoingFurtherTogether.
