150 Master Card Beneficiaries Graduate at MUK

Over 150 Master Card Foundation supported students have been awarded degrees and Diploma at the just concluded Makerere University’s 70th graduation ceremony.

It was a moment of joy and jubilation as graduands supported by Master Card Foundation celebrated their degrees at the just concluded Makerere University.

With a vision of serving the academically sound, master card foundation invested financial resources and has now produced four students with first class degrees among those supported at Makerere University Kampala.

The Chairperson Makerere University Council Lorna Magala urged Graduands to guard their responsibilities and roles and to always do better for society.

The Vice chancellor Academics Makerere University Dr Umar Kakumba urged Graduands to promote the vision of the master card foundation and uphold values of the master card foundation.

Master Card Foundation is operational only at Makerere University and is a major breakthrough for brilliant but poor children.

The Country Director Master card foundation Samuel Adera thanked parents for their trust in the foundation and urged Makerere University to identify brilliant students who can benefit from the program.

Makerere University entered into partnership with Master Card Foundation to offer scholarships to a thousand bright youth from Africa to study at Makerere University from 2013 to 2024.
