Diana. is a seasoned digital-transformation leader with more than 16 years of experience orchestrating major change programmes across the Middle East, Africa and North America. Within Uganda’s finance and tech ecosystem she has become a powerful agent of innovation — aligning business strategy, technology, and human capability to reshape digital channels and customer experiences.

Career Journey – Leadership in Motion

Diana’s career spans a broad spectrum of digital and product leadership roles. Most recently, she joined a leading Ugandan financial institution as a senior figure in transformation and channel strategy, where she leads the execution of new platform launches, product experience innovations and digital-ecosystem growth. Previously, she delivered transformational programmes in the WASH and Education sectors across the MEA region, combining her domain expertise with operational excellence.

One highlight: Diana served as mentor at the Stanbic Women in Tech Boot Camp and a Judge at the Stanbic National School Championships, supporting young innovators through coaching, evaluation and encouragement. She believes that technology must serve people, and in her roles she has championed gender inclusion in tech and entrepreneurship.

Impact & Value – Innovation with Heart

Diana’s work is characterised by three enduring themes: transformation, collaboration, and inclusion. On the transformation front, she has driven business-critical shifts—from legacy channels to digital ecosystems, and from product-centric to customer-centric models both in the government and private sectors. Through collaboration, Diana has bridged business units, IT, operations and external partners, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable and adopted. And through inclusion, she has helped craft frameworks and initiatives that promote women in tech, mentor young talent, and make leadership accessible. She founded the ToroBelle Literacy Foundation, an initiative that champions literacy initiatives and innovation among the youth.

A tweet by Girls 4 Girls Uganda highlights her mentorship of young women:

“Spotlighting our cohort Leaders … all the mentors of this cohort: Ada Shabaan, Diana Kaganzi K.” where she has mentored ladies in taking up leadership roles in cohorts from Housing Finance Bank and EY.

Why She Moves Nations

Diana Kaganzi K. embodies the spirit of #WomenWhoMoveNations: She leads with clarity, builds platforms of opportunity, and inspires a new generation across sectors. In the boardroom, mentorig startups in Uganda or mentoring a teen in tech, she drives progress—showing that transformation isn’t just about systems, but about people and possibility.

Her career-long journey of innovation and advocacy reveals how one leader can accelerate the future and empower others to follow.
