Over the weekend, Stanbic Bank Uganda reaffirmed its commitment to community health by donating essential medical equipment to Rukoki Health Centre in Kasese District. This initiative is part of a nationwide effort to strengthen healthcare facilities in communities where the bank operates.

The donation, valued at UGX 300 million, includes critical items such as hospital beds, sphygmomanometers, oxygen concentrators, mattresses, and 200 Mama Kits. These contributions are aimed at improving maternal and neonatal care, aligning with the bank’s ongoing focus on enhancing healthcare services across Uganda.

Sam Bulenzi, Head of Client Coverage at Stanbic Bank, emphasized the significance of the donation, stating, “This contribution is part of a larger medical equipment donation that was flagged off earlier this week at the Ministry of Health. Today’s event is not just a handover; it is a reaffirmation of our purpose.”

This effort builds upon Stanbic Bank’s previous initiatives, including the donation of UGX 25 million worth of medical equipment to Mpugwe Health Center III in Masaka District and the provision of maternal healthcare support in Kabarole District . These actions underscore the bank’s dedication to improving healthcare infrastructure and access to quality medical services in underserved regions.

Through these contributions, Stanbic Bank continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing the health and well-being of communities across Uganda, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
