The 70th graduation ceremony at Makerere University is still ongoing with hundreds still attaining their rewards of excellence.

Jackline Namakula, aged 24, has just graduated at Makerere University.

She is a person living with disability and has attained a degree in Business administration.

Jackline recounts the journey to the day of her graduation.

People living with disability are often stigmatized, but some haven’t lost the commitment to study. They believe disability is not inability.

Parents believe supporting persons with disability will make them fit in society, as well as fight for their rights.

However, other graduands couldn’t hide their excitement upon reaching their success.

Over 3500 students, Thursday, graduated in different business faculties.
